Camp to Belong Massachusetts
Camp To Belong is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to reuniting siblings separated when placed in foster care.
Summer campers take part in events designed to help deepen the sibling connection.
This past August, Camp To Belong Massachusetts made it possible for brothers and sisters to create lifetime memories while they spent a terrific week in The Berkshires.
The Camp To Belong Massachusetts experience is built around summer fun and the chance for brothers and sisters to reconnect. Activities created for sibling participants include:
- A camp-wide birthday party
- Creative art projects such as the “Sibling Pillow Project”
- Life seminars, mentoring, and inspirational forums
- Exciting outdoor activities, themed events, and campfire nights!
Lynn Price founded Camp To Belong in 1995 out of her own childhood experience in the foster care system.
Separated from her older sister, Andi Andree, Lynn only developed a solid friendship with her sister as a young adult. Realizing how much they missed growing up apart, Lynn was inspired to create Camp To Belong.
